What CAMAudit Is

CAMAudit is an automated document analysis tool. We are not attorneys, CPAs, or auditors. We do not provide legal counsel, accounting services, or professional advisory services of any kind. CAMAudit is software that reads your documents and applies detection rules to identify potential discrepancies.

What Our Reports Mean

Our reports identify potential discrepancies in your CAM reconciliation statement based on the documents you upload. They are starting points for investigation, not conclusive proof of overcharges. Findings reflect our automated analysis of the documents provided; they may not capture every issue or account for lease provisions we could not extract.

Dispute Letter Drafts

We generate dispute letter templates based on your audit findings. These are document templates, not legal filings. You are responsible for reviewing, modifying, and deciding whether to send them. Sending a dispute letter draft to your landlord is a decision only you can make, ideally in consultation with a licensed attorney who understands your specific situation.

Your Responsibility

We give you the tools. You make the decisions. You are solely responsible for verifying our findings against your original lease and CAM documents, deciding whether and how to use them, and understanding the legal implications of any dispute with your landlord.

Not Legal Advice

Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice. The information provided by CAMAudit, including audit reports, dispute letter templates, state law summaries, and educational content, is for informational purposes only. Consult a licensed attorney before taking legal action or making decisions based on our analysis.

Recovery of past CAM overcharges depends on your specific lease terms, including any audit rights deadlines or ‘binding and conclusive’ provisions, and on applicable state law.

State statute of limitations periods apply to written contracts and range from 3 to 10 years. Your actual lookback window may be shorter based on your lease.

CAMAudit is a document analysis platform, not a law firm, and nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. Consult a licensed real estate attorney before initiating any dispute or legal proceeding.
